I place 9 cuttings in a 6” square plastic pot of mix and leave them on the shelf of an unheated greenhouse.
In February the cuttings have sprouted, and now at the end of March I have potted on hundreds of rooted berry plants into their own 4in. pots.
You can see from the photo how sturdy the roots are already. By mid-summer they will be ready to move on into 1-gallon pots. It’s so easy the cuttings took without rooting hormone.
Try this yourself and you’ll have lots of phytonutrient-rich berry plants to share with your neighbours.
